Load Data to Machine

With this dialog box, you load knitting program data of a pattern and/or machine data from the pattern workstation to the memory of a machine that is connected to your pattern workstation.
The dialog box is called up via the Load data to machine function in the context menu of the My machines directory of the machine explorer.
The machine designations and the SELAN machine no. are displayed in the title bar bar of the dialog box.

Make the following settings in this dialog box:

Load machine data to machine

With the checkbox activated, the machine data from the Machine Data tab from the Machine properties dialog box is loaded into the machine with the Start button.

File selection section

Sintral (.sin)
Jacquard (.jac)
Setup (.setx / .set)
Order (.ord)

With the checkbox activated, the data of this type is loaded into the machine.
As soon as you have selected a file type, the list field for entering the path and file name becomes available. You can enter the directory path in which the knitting program data are located on the pattern workstation and the file name directly or open the Open dialog box with the Browse button and select a file.

: If you have opened one or more patterns in the pattern workstation, this/these are offered for selection in the list field, provided the related knitting program (Sintral) of the respective pattern is available.

Delete all data in the machine:
EALL

When the checkbox is activated, previous pattern data is deleted in the memory of the machine.
Deactivate the check box to overwrite only individual pattern files (e.g. *.sin and *.jac) in the memory of the machine.

: The checkbox is only available when you have selected a file type in the File selection section .

Delete yarn carrier data in machine:
EAY

When the checkbox is activated, yarn carrier data in the memory of the machine is deleted.

 

Input field
Enter path and file name:

Enter the path and the file name.
The directory D:\Stoll\M1\KnitLAN\ is preset. The path used at last will be retained.

Buttons in the dialog box:

Call up the Open dialog box, in which the file loaded into the machine is to be selected.

: This button is only available if you have activated the Autosintral checkbox or a checkbox from the File selection section.

Start

Load file. During this a progress bar is displayed.

: The button is available after the following actions:
- Activate Autosintral checkbox and specify a path and file name.
- Activate the checkbox for one or more file types in the File selection section and specify a path and file name.
- Activate the Load machine data in machine checkbox.

Close

Close dialog box without applying settings.

I. Load pattern in machine:

  1. The machine and pattern workstation are interconnected.
  2. The carriage stops at the left reversal point in the stroke from left to right.

    Select file type to be loaded.

Several file types can be loaded simultaneously.

    Enter file name with path.
    -  or  -
    Click Browse button.
  1. The Open dialog box appears in which you select the knitting program or the related pattern.

It is irrelevant which file type you select here. The file ending is not taken into account for the file names.

    Click the Start button.
  1. The SELAN window is opened and a connection is established. Then the pattern is transferred to the machine. The progress of the transfer is shown with a progress bar. The SELAN window is closed again following the transfer. A message stating that the transfer has been completed appears below the progress bar.

Pattern files can be loaded online even with the SELAN window open. The window is then closed.

II. Transfer machine data to the machine:

  1. The machine and pattern workstation are interconnected.
  2. The carriage stops at the left reversal point in the stroke from left to right.

    Activate Load machine data in machine checkbox.

  1. The SELAN window is opened and a connection is established. Then the machine data are loaded into the machine. The progress of the transfer is shown with a progress bar. The SELAN window is closed again following the transfer. A message stating that the transfer has been completed appears below the progress bar.
