System functions tab

On this tab you can display the functions available for each knitting system in the System functions section and activate and deactivate them if necessary. These settings affect Technical Processing. For example, only the systems for Splitting that have been provided for this purpose in the system functions are used.

On the System functions tab, the following settings are made:

Click on one of the graphically displayed systems to display the functions possible in this system in the System functions of system front/back section.

Plush active

Activate this check box when you want to work plush on the machine.
: As transfer is no longer possible in all systems during plushing, a question appears when this function is switched on asking whether the system functions are to be adjusted accordingly.
The check box is not available for machines on which no plush device is available.
: For additional information on the subject of plushing, read the manual Plushing device for CMS machines.

devoré knit/Plush active

Activate this check box if you want to work devoré knit/Plush on the machine.
The two right knitting systems on the rear side are adjusted for the functions.

  • FromOKC
  • Not possible as combination with Devoré (1 system)!

with selvedge correction

Activate this check box if a selvedge correction is to be performed at the shape edge (also V-neck) with devoré knit/Plush.

Notes:

  • Only in the MC Attributes dialog box available!
  • Do not use for plush pattern with 1x1 technique

Plush can be worked in the systems displayed here.

Button
Set to default values

When this button is clicked, the default system functions of Stoll are set again. In the process the values from the Stoll machine database are applied.

System Conversion

Holding-deep by tuck function

Com box modification in order to hold-deep the fabric by driven-out needles.

: The needle action tuck is not possible with modified cam boxes!

Devoré (1 system)

  • System conversion for devoré pattern techniques
  • ADF with EKC 2 at E16 and E18
  • Motif thread and binding thread by one plating color
    Plating (toolbar)
  • Input in the control column System Function
  • Do not use the Sintral command SX in the knitting program.
  • Not possible as combination with devoré knit/Plush active!

The functions possible for the selected system are displayed in the Knitting system section.

  • Separated according to carriage direction
  • Both carriage directions together

Tuck

The needle can be driven out to the tuck position.

Present to Needle Bed ...

The needle can be driven out to the delivery position to the opposite needle bed.

Stitch
The needle can be driven out to the insertion position of stitches.

Take from needle bed ...
The needle can be driven out to the receiving position of the opposite needle bed.

Receive Split
The needle can be driven out to the receiving position of split stitches.

Divided stitch cam
The needle can be driven out to the insertion position of stitches.

  • Stitch via split curve
  • Typical configuration for divided stitch cams:
  • Transfer and split functions are not possible with this setting.

Not sunken tuck
The needle with the Tuck needle action cannot be sunken to loop sinking depth.
Tuck bindings will get tighter with it.

: Need to modify the cam box!
Conversion kits are available for machines with 5" system distance.
