Fully fashion - working with fully fashion fabrics
A shape database with various basic shapes is supplied by Stoll to generate fully fashioned fabrics. Should the shape you desire not be among these, then you can automatically generate your own shape from a cutting shape with the shape editor or you can draw the shape manually in the shape view.
The following options for fully fashion are available:
- Generate a shape (file type shv or shp) in the Shape Editor.
- Create a shape (File type shr) in the M1plus.
Use the corresponding functions in the Shape menu. - Generate a shape from an imported picture example.
For more information on this subject, read the Importing pictures chapter. - Generate fully fashion shapes in different sizes with the ShapeSizer.
- Generate a new pattern from a cutting shape or a shape, whereby the cutting shape is automatically converted to the shape and this is linked to the basic pattern.
Use the New function in the menu and select the pattern type Fully Fashion in the
New pattern dialog box in the Selection section. - Link a cutting shape or a shape to an existing pattern, whereby the cutting shape is automatically converted to the shape and this can be positioned on the pattern.
For this purpose use the Open and Position Shape (shv, shp, shr) function in the menu. - Generate this later manually for an existing pattern without shape.
Use the Generate Shape function in the menu to generate a shape the size of the pattern, and edit this accordingly. - Edit the shape.
For this purpose, use the shape view of the pattern or the Shape Symbols toolbar in the shape editor window.
