Evaluation of Value 1

In the Properties of: <module name> dialog box, on the Technical tab, Value1 and Value2 are specified.

Value1 is evaluated during Technical Processing with the following applications:

Application

Explanation

Module group

Knitting-in

The value specifies the technical row of the module after which the yarn carriers are to be knitted in for the start. The modules for knitting-in are contained in the respective technical container module for the start. The value is entered for the individual modules for knitting-in.

Binding-off

If binding-off is carried out within a neck, then the module is used with a direction that matches the carriage direction of the technical row in which it is to be inserted and that has the value <>0.
The value <>0 indicates that the module is entered in the pattern offset by the specified number of columns. A positive value offsets to the right and a negative value to the left.
If no module with a value <>0 is present, then a module with the value 0 is inserted.
The value is entered for the technical container modules.

Narrowing/widening

The value specifies for which narrowing or widening width the module is used. If no module with the value is present that corresponds to the narrowing/widening width, the module with the value 0 is used.
: In addition, the direction must match the narrowing or widening direction in the pattern and the value must match the stepping in the pattern for Max. allowed racking.
The value is entered for the technical container modules.
During widening with the plug method, an offset can be specified for k&w to define the quantity of needles the docking module is to be inserted in the pattern offset to the shape edge.

Intarsia - Net pick-up

As soon as the number of methods exceeds the number of individual modules in the pattern, it must be specified with which method this is to occur, when dealing with container modules. This must be specified with the following value.
Value = 5 >> 1-row with pattern tension
Value = 1 >> 3-row without transfer
The value is entered for the technical container modules.
: If a value other than 1 or 5 is used, the net pick-up is not entered into the pattern by Technical Processing.

Multi gauge transition coarse/fine

Value = 0 >> Pick-up split coarse
Value = 1 >> Pick-up stitch fine

If several modules have suitable properties, then the first module from the module group in the Module Explorer is used.
