    • What was new in 7.2?
  • Separate Knitting from Transferring control column
    • With certain structure pattern, knitted by the leading S1 and transferred by the following S2, the transferred stitches may be not enough sunken and due to it, the needle latch of the receiving needle may not open.
    • For sure transfer, you can force the transfer by a separate carriage stroke.
    • You can find the Separate Knitting from Transferring control column in the patterns, modules, Color Arrangements and Modul Arrangements.
  • Pseudo yarn carriers for sequences of several patterns with a different quantity of yarn carriers
    • You can create Ps yarn carriers in the Yarn Field Allocation dialog box.
    • Call up the context menu of a yarn carrier track.
    • The Ps yarn carrier appears automatically with the yarn carrier color of the corresponding yarn carrier track.

    • Der Ps yarn carrier gets automatically the Knit-in before start attribute.
    • You can delete the Ps yarn carrier by the context menu.
  • Delayed clamping and cutting after the start
    • Configuration → Comb, Clamping → Registro pettine, pinzatura
    • Yarns of the yarn carriers, which are taken out of the clamp at the start, are removed from the area of the scissors by these knitting rows.
      Due to it, no short yarn ends will appear.
    • You can set the value from 0 - 255 row.

Modified values for delayed opening of the collecting clamp:

  • Up to now:
    • Quantity of Rows Until Opening the Clamps => 5
    • Quantity of Rows Until Closing Clamps After the Start => 0
  • Starting with version 7.3.041 and 7.4.012:
    • Quantity of Rows Until Opening the Clamps => 0
    • Quantity of Rows Until Closing Clamps After the Start => 50

  • Not Sunken Tuck
    • Regular tuck and not sunken tuck can be knit by the knitting systems of BMS machines without conversion.
    • Enter the desired tuck action into the system function control column.
    • In Configuration / Further Settings, you can enable the 'Knit all technical rows containing the tuck needle action by a system with the not sunken tuck system function' option.

Reclaiming (PNP)

Before forming a new stitch or transferring, the needle is sunk again when reclaiming, in order to tighten or stretch the "old" stitch.

Transfer Fixing (Knitting-in) module for knitting-in

Knitting-in the threads by float with simple intarsia patterns

  1. In preparation, the first stitch of the color field will be transferred to the opposite needle bed.
  2. After that, the yarn carrier will be knitted-in by float and the stitch will be transferred back.
