Local module
A local module is a module that is not saved in the database. It can be recognized from the character L in the upper left corner of the picture of the module link in the Module toolbar. You get a local module when you create a module with the Generate Module From Selection
function or using Create local copy of pattern. These modules appear in the <Pattern name> module group.
A link to a local module from the <Pattern name> module group cannot be deleted if it is contained in the pattern. If an attempt is made to delete it, a corresponding message appears.
If a local module is inserted in another pattern, then a copy of this module with the name Copy of <Name of local module> is created in the target pattern. With the function in the context menu of the Module toolbar you can save the local module in the database.
Local pattern elements are created with the functions Copy, Cut and Picture in paste buffer.... They appear also in the <pattern name> module group and can be saved to the database by the function.
